3. Booking and Payment

- Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled moving date may incur a cancellation fee.
4. Responsibilities of the Customer

- Preparation: Ensure that all items to be moved are properly packed and ready for transport. Any items requiring special handling should be clearly communicated to us before the move.
- Access: Provide reasonable access to the locations involved in the move (e.g., ensure elevators are available, parking spaces are clear, and pathways are unobstructed).
- Valuables and Fragile Items: You are responsible for the safe packing and handling of valuable or fragile items unless you choose to purchase additional insurance coverage through our services.
5. Our Responsibilities
We will provide the services as outlined in the booking agreement, and our team will take reasonable care to ensure the safety and security of your items during transport. However, we are not responsible for damage to items that are improperly packed or for items that are not disclosed to us as requiring special handling.
6. Insurance
- Basic Coverage: We offer basic liability coverage for your belongings, which covers the cost of repair or replacement for items damaged due to our actions during the move.
- Additional Insurance: If you are moving high-value items or wish to increase your protection, we recommend purchasing additional insurance. This coverage will be provided by third-party insurers and is available for an additional fee.
7. Limitations of Liability
Boynton Beach FL Movers is not liable for the following:
- Damage to improperly packed items: We are not responsible for damage to items packed by the customer unless they are packed by our team using our packing services.
- Items left behind: We are not responsible for any items left behind at the pickup location or not included in the inventory.
- Force Majeure: We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform services caused by factors beyond our control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, accidents, or governmental actions.
8. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend services if:
- Breach of Terms: If you breach any of the Terms outlined in this agreement.
- Unreasonable Behavior: If you or anyone at the moving location engages in threatening, abusive, or unreasonable behavior that impedes the moving process.
- Unforeseen Circumstances: If circumstances arise that prevent us from providing the agreed-upon services (e.g., severe weather, truck breakdown).
9. Confidentiality
We respect your privacy and will not disclose any personal information, such as contact details or payment information, to third parties without your consent unless required by law. We may collect and store personal data for business purposes such as service improvement, communications, and marketing.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Florida state law.
